We know clinicians are tired. They spend hours and hours each week entering data into EHRs, checking protocol, and hopefully, treating patients. This is about an hour every week where they can come to talk about the things they love, the things that burn them out, and the reason they got into this in the first place. The next time you’re post-call, or even if you just feel like it, spend it with us. The information in this podcast is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

The Living in Cycles Podcast is about stepping away from Linear Living and reconnecting with Cyclical Time. This podcast is open to everyone at any stage of their Cyclical Living journey, whether you’re already thinking in cycles or you’re just now questioning whether linear time is a lie (at worst) vs seeing linear time as a rigid construct that works for some people but leaves little room for others who cannot move through life in a straight, upward facing line (at best). by

    Since Dec 17, 2019 08:00 UTC

The podcast for GPs, hospital doctors and other professionals in high-stakes, high-stress jobs who want to thrive rather than just survive. You studied for years, you’re really good at what you do but you’ve noticed that you’re starting to feel overwhelmed, overworked and under-resourced. You may be comparing yourself to a frog in boiling water – the heat has built up so slowly that you haven’t noticed the extra-long days becoming the norm. You may feel on the edge and trapped in the very job that you’ve spent years working towards. Here’s the problem, frogs only have two choices; stay and be boiled alive, or jump out of the pan. The good news is that you are not a frog. You have many more choices than you think you do. You don’t have to quit, and nor should stress and burnout be inevitable. It is possible to be master of your own destiny, to craft your work life and career so that you can thrive even in the most difficult of situations. There are simple changes you can make which will make a huge difference to your stress levels and help you enjoy life again. Your host is Dr Rachel Morris, GP turned Executive Coach and Specialist in Resilience at Work who knows what it’s like to feel like an exhausted frog. In the podcast, she’ll be talking to friends, colleagues and experts all who have an interesting take on resilience for clever people in high-stakes, high-stress jobs so that together you can take back control to beat stress and burnout, survive and thrive.

A podcast for overachievers who want to heal their autoimmune issues holistically and naturally, but coming up short. Autoimmune issues are rarely caused by a single source, often it’s a combination of factors. The BS We Feed Ourselves explores the gut-brain connection, how stress, trauma, and our broken food system are all intertwined and contributing to a global escalation of autoimmune issues. Host Shawna Bigby Davis shares expert interviews, mini-action plans, and no-BS mind expanders to start feeding ourselves better. A former creative agency owner, Shawna sold her business in 2018 to heal her multiple autoimmune issues (Rheumatoid Arthritis, Hashimoto’s, Celiac, and Lupus) and is on a mission to help 50 million Americans do the same. Shawna is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and health-tech founder of Your Daily®, an AI-based coach for daily autoimmune wellness.

Colombian journalist Laura Dulce Romero was burnt out and considering quitting the trade. But a new style of reporting, Solutions Journalism, caught her attention: this method seeks to report news in a constructive way. In this six-part series, Laura puts the SoJo methodology – which can be summarised by the acronym WHOLE – to the test by interviewing practitioners about what SoJo offers by way of a solution to journalistic burnout, how it works, observations from those who use it, the limitations of the approach, and evidence that support its claims.
