Catch us LIVE on TuneIn every Saturday 2pm-4pm with IBNX Radio! Click the link above. CeeJay Ray and KB have a friendship that spans over ten years and it shows through their chemistry on and off-air. They formed Degrees and Chuck T’s, a show rooted in their appreciation for music, especially Hip Hop. CeeJay and KB have the dexterity to give their unfiltered opinions on pop culture, politics, and issues affecting the everyday person. Both graduated with Communications degrees; the ladies of Degrees and Chuck T’s exhibit their talents with Marketing, PR, and Production to build their brand. These savvy women have the drive and willpower to focus on the future by creating it. On the other side of the coin, Degrees and Chuck T’s are two streetsmart and hilarious badasses. They have their own style and creative process: CeeJay and KB both create and expand ideas on a metaphorical blank canvas. Ask them how they do it, and either one will say, “it just works”. CeeJay is the wildcard comedian, there’s no telling what she might say. She’ll take you on head-to-head. KB has a laid back style, but when she tells you what’s on her mind, you just might get your feelings hurt. Tell Grandma this show is not for her. The Degrees and Chuck T’s Show does not shy away from any topic nor back down! Expect to laugh out loud and experience great conversation and all around entertainment. Ceejay and KB are more than hosts, they are #UnapologeticallyDope. IG: @degreesandchuckts FB: Degrees and Chuck T’s

Each episode Dan speaks with an interesting person in some interesting discipline, getting them to say interesting things. Then the funny happens. Or the depth. Did he or his guest get it wrong? Go on the podcast and correct his crazy ways and understand your point of view. He’s up for the chat! Dan is a centrist by nature, occasionally taking sides on either side of the political spectrum. Old-school definitions call this “critical thinking”, or perhaps “willing to compromise”. Modern spin calls it being “indecisive”, and “wishy-washy”. That said, this ain’t no leftie or rightie talk show. If you’re looking for a regular dose of politics, you’ll need to look elsewhere. The talks will be with interesting people, people like YOU… because you’ve found this podcast and are interested in conversations in some way or other. That said, people may occasionally say the word “butt”. Cover your ears! The show is not about winning, about being the strongest voice in the room who can talk over the other person. It’s about airing it out. It’s about going IN DEEP

AAWW Radio is the podcast of the Asian American Writers’ Workshop, an NYC literary arts space at the intersection of migration, race, and social justice. Listen to AAWW Radio and you’ll hear selected audio from our current and past events, as well as occasional original episodes. We’ve hosted established writers like Claudia Rankine, Maxine Hong Kingston, Roxane Gay, Amitav Ghosh, Ocean Vuong, Solmaz Sharif, and Jenny Zhang. Our events are intimate and intellectual, quirky yet curated, and dedicated to social justice. We curate our events to juxtapose novelists and activists, poets and intellectuals, and bring together people who usually wouldn’t be in the same room. We’ve got it all: from avant-garde poetry to post-colonial politics, feminist comics to lyric verse, literary fiction to dispatches from the left. A sanctuary for the immigrant imagination, we believe Asian American stories deserve to be told. Learn more by visiting aaww.org Produced by the Asian American Writers’ Workshop.

Welcome to Philosophication, the show where two non-experts philosophize about all things complicated, controversial, or simply interesting. We’ll tackle topics ranging from morality and ethics to current events, from politics to pop culture, and from philosophy to whatever else we happen to find interesting. We don’t claim to be experts, and we’re sure to get things wrong from time to time, but one thing you will always find here is a commitment to free and open dialogue on a variety of complex and often difficult topics. We believe one of the best ways to improve our world is to practice and hone our ability to engage in these types of discussions in a civil and honest manner, even when we strongly disagree on a fundamental level. If we improve our abilities in this area, we improve our ability to solve every other problem our society faces. Join us as we attempt to cut through empty rhetoric, look past simple talking points, and challenge deeply held beliefs.
