    Life Hacks (From a Counsellor)

    by

    Since Dec 29, 2018 16:00 UTC

Do you want to lead a full and meaningful life? A life that is rich, purposeful, filled with intention, awareness, and perspective? Counsellor and art therapist, Janine Ray, has 8 years of experience as a counsellor, and more than two decades of experience of living with anxiety. In this podcast, Janine offers “life-hacks” or tips & tricks to gain life-enhancing skills. Often, we are not taught the skills to cope with challenges, deal with difficult emotions and different people, and many of us simply “get by” using what works – whether it is helpful or not. Life Hack topics include healthy communication, how to express emotion, how to respond to difficult situations, and more. This podcast is recorded in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The 7 video tracks in this album introduce patients and doctors at the Royal Free Hospital’s Pain Clinic and the Real Health Institute in London. They explore the causes of pain, the changes it brings to the lives of sufferers and the ways in which drugs, surgery, physiotherapy and cognitive therapies can help control it. Surviving Empathy

    Surviving Empathy

    by

    Since May 31, 2021 23:00 UTC

Welcome to Surviving Empathy Podcast! You can find all our links at https://linktr.ee/chefbrycomedy. We’re all about empathy, kindness, empath talk, exploring the paranormal & weird stuff, plus good mental health & robust living, while maintaining a wicked sense of humor in these seriously weird times! Do check out our new YouTube channel Chef Bry Comedy & please subscribe!

    www.youtube.com/@chefbrycomedy

I’m Bryan Russ & I’m a comedian, author, voice artist, radio personality, chef, humanist, activist, animal lover, fitness runner, & strong realized empath with over 15 years of experience as an energetic empath. ChefBryComedy is the brand for the podcast, books, comedy albums, videos, and anything & everything I’m working on!

    Who we are:

Energetic empaths, paranormal enthusiasts, researchers, & investigators, mental health & quality of life advocates, freethinkers & freedom fighters who look at the totality of our culture & times to identify any & all regressive/oppressive systems & attitudes in our world. To bring about better clarity, mental, emotional, & spiritual health, advocacy & hope for people & the so they feel more empowered, balanced, happy & free. We’re also a resource for empaths & highly sensitive people, & paranormal believers who take on the subject with a balanced, skeptical but open-minded approach! As empaths we have a clairvoyant wisdom to the subject matter.

    What it’s all about:

This is a podcast about the paranormal, cryptids, and all unexplained phenomena, as well as a resource for empaths to uncover & better understand the phenomenon in a down to earth & accessible way. We talk about robust mental health for regular people & empaths alike & we take on systems & attitudes that oppress & exploit people.

    What we care about:

We strive to build a community (Empath Tribe) for regular people, empaths, those struggling with mental health imperfections, & people having a hard time finding opportunities, meaning, & balance in this world. We strive for best practices & sustainable outcomes in our culture. We talk about real life stuff in a straightforward & honest way & try to keep the show both impactful, thoughtful, fun & playful as well.

    Our background:

Bryan Russ is the main host of the show, with a background in the military, as an EMT, phlebotomist, massage therapist, energy healer, chef, radio technician & radio personality. My biggest love is being a chef, having worked from Cook to Head Chef & everything in between! When I was in school I came to the realization I had the ability to sense vibes, energies, intentions, & emotions that aren’t always my own. I can pick up on residual energies & spirits, often with the ability to sense the past & different types of people & emotions that once inhabited an area, or an actual spirit haunting a location. I’m a full-time comedian, podcaster, researcher, voice artist, author, & lover of the funner, more cheerful, & compassionate side of life.

Rebecca Russ is my wife, best friend, and co-host of the show. Also an empath, she & I have come to learn much about the the spirit realm & the unexplained. In real life we’re just down to earth people with a relaxed & fun sensibility. Sometimes we’re fun-loving & humorous, sometimes we’re deep & very real. Rebecca was a medical assistant for over 18 years in a major pediatric office & now works as a customer service supervisor for a major grocery store. We’re all about trying to make the world feel more comfortable, more fair, less punitive, more classy, fun-loving, & have more positive energy, fairness, dignity, & good cheer.

Welcome to Surviving Empathy Podcast! Where humor meets heart!

    NEW STORY with Rebecca Conran

    NEW STORY with Rebecca Conran

    by

    Since Nov 13, 2018 21:08 UTC

It’s hard to believe, even for me now, that for most of my life I felt directionless and depressed. Perpetually swinging from the highest highs to the lowest lows. I used sex, relationships, drugs, alcohol, eating, not eating, shopping, and work as ways to escape and avoid the dark, vast, void that I felt within myself. I had multiple failed suicide bids and I’m lucky to still be alive. I’m a prime example of a life lost then built back into one of purpose, clarity and fulfillment. I’ve been fortunate in the years since my lowest lows to have helped thousands of clients with Energy Healing, Spiritual Counseling and my Astrological Reports.

It can be hard to invest time, energy and resources into our self care and self love. However, the investment you make in your health and happiness, is the only thing truly worth investing in. In this show we discuss how to create a “New Story” for ourselves – one that makes us feel strong, empowered and free.

Spiraling with Katie Dalebout and Serena Wolf

    by

    Since Aug 8, 2019 13:00 UTC

In each episode, two anxious friends share what they’re spiraling about that week—from awkward interactions to business decisions and how to treat an unfortunate chest zit—followed by a deep-dive into different facets of anxiety and anxiety management. Filled with heart, insight, and an appropriate amount of profanity, this podcast is a love letter to anyone struggling with anxiety, reminding them that they are not alone, they are not weird or damaged, and they don’t owe anyone an explanation for their mental health.

SoberSoul Recovery: Addiction, Sobriety, and Beyond!

SoberSoul Recovery: Addiction, Sobriety, and Beyond!

    by

    Since Mar 16, 2018 06:02 UTC

I help people understand themselves better, make sense of their feelings, and learn from resentments and disappointments by using a heart-centered and holistic approach. We all want to live an authentic and fulfilling life…sometimes we just need a little help. Two of our most basic needs are to be connected and to feel loved. Without these, we feel a lack of purpose and isolated. When we feel alone, disconnected and insecure, we’re filled with negative thoughts and feelings of guilt and shame. Left unattended and unvalidated, these feelings take root, growing into resentments and increasingly unhealthy behaviors. If we lack positive feelings about ourselves it’s difficult to trust, communicate and feel safe in the world. I offer you a space to be listened to without judgment. A place of safety. And, when you are ready, a new perspective backed by a toolbox full of good techniques to uniquely help you reconnect with your inner world and improve your relationships. We tune into and check out your long held beliefs. We quiet those unkind unconscious messages and turn up your self confidence by identifying and supporting your strengths.

    The Anxious Achiever

    by

    Since Sep 19, 2019 21:02 UTC

Host Morra Aarons-Mele is on a mission to reframe how we think about anxiety and mental health in the workplace. Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the U.S. We desperately need better models for leadership and a more holistic view of mental health. Our culture tells those of us who suffer from anxiety and depression that we can’t succeed, but we tell a different story — without sugarcoating the tough stuff. We feature stories from people who’ve been there and experts who can help you thrive.
