Charles and I are constantly chasing our interests. They’re so varied and obscure that we often end up deviating from our theme of covering two songs. Well in 2023, we’re choosing to make Movies our primary focus. We’ll be discussing all sorts of films: The Shining, Interstellar, Wayne’s World, This is Spinal Tap, Singing In The Rain, Casablanca. If you’ve got a great film you want to cover, send us a message on Instagram or Facebook: TwoTrackAudio. Ridiculous Dialogue was created to share the banter that takes place at Imminent Threat Solutions on a daily basis. It’s us; candid, unedited and talking about everything from what movies we’re watching to the general geekiness that keeps us laughing here at ITS HQ. While we generally keep the vibe in our articles PG rated, be warned, it may not be safe to blast over your speakers at work. We hope you enjoy the insight into ITS and who we are behind the scenes as a company; pull up a chair and tune in to Radio ITS.

SF’s Free to Learn initiatives are supported by a Florida Humanities Greater Good: Humanities in Academia Grant for SF’s project Humanities Behind & Beyond Bars. Project initiatives include a podcast series, Free to Learn: Education In and Out of Prison, two Ethics Slams to engage both the SF campus and broader Gainesville community in constructive dialogue about incarceration’s ethical, humanitarian dimensions, and a Spring Symposium, Unlocking Purpose and Potential, which will provide a platform for sharing stories and information, considering the role that education can play in breaking the cycle of incarceration, and exploring steps that we as individuals, and as a collective college community, can take to provide opportunities and a community of care for our citizens who are impacted by incarceration.
The aim of this project and its initiatives is (1) to increase public understanding of incarceration in Florida, its impact on our communities, and the role that education can play in reducing rates of recidivism and promoting safer, stronger communities; (2) to raise the voices of current and formerly incarcerated individuals (especially current and former SF students with carceral experience) to help inform steps SF can take to support this segment of their student population; and (3) to shine a spotlight on the obstacles faced by those with carceral experience in gaining access to education and resources that support their successful re-entry into the community post-incarceration.

SuchThatCast is dedicated to getting to know some of the most influential philosophers (broadly speaking) of today. It seeks to provide an alternative to most other philosophy podcasts (many of which are excellent), by taking the form of a face-to-face conversation (I will never do a phone/skype interview) where the guest is free (and encouraged) to share information about themselves that may not be appropriate in other forums: this includes stories about their unique and often unconventional career paths, seminal events and figures in their lives, undeveloped ideas and generally whatever they are passionate about.
