The home of feminist conversations on business, work-life and economics.
For this Christmas special there was no one better to join me than my brilliant friend, and returning guest, Upasna Bhadhal!
Over the past two and a half years or so, Upi and I have shared offices, kept each other sane and generally picked each other up in the hardest of times, especially as covid rapidly affected our businesses and lives in such unexpected ways.
I hope you enjoy listening, and more than that, I hope that you have a really restful and enjoyable Christmas and new year break – whatever that looks like for you.
As always, thank you for listening to this podcast and for your support – it means a lot to me that you’ve stuck with me during some of the toughest times over the past two years.
And a huge thank you to Beth, Katie and Anna who have worked hard behind the scenes to bring you this podcast – without you all, it wouldn’t be possible.
Here’s to 2022!
You can join us on Twitter and Instagram and if you love listening to us, please rate review and subscribe wherever you’re listening. Thanks so much.

My Transgender Life, The Blogs from HuffPost 2015-2017 are my recordings of the 100+ blogs I published 5 years ago on a weekly basis. The stories are much more than just about my being transgender, and each has a lesson on acceptance for all people in addition to help everyone better understand at least one transgender experience. I believe that their messages are timeless.

Sharon Lee Thony and Raman Sehgal are two MODERN MINORITIES – Asian-American industry pros “making it” (?) – even though they never became the doctors their parents wanted them to be. Each week, they are joined by folks of all stripes – entrepreneurs, corporates, athletes, reporters, politicians, entertainers, and more – to uncover how our different cultural backgrounds shape how we uniquely experience the world. MODERN MINORITIES is a collection of conversations about work and life through the lens of race and gender. It is a show where we talk about “the thing” that everyone is thinking about, but nobody is actually talking about it. New episodes drop weekly.

The Mash-Up Americans is your guide to the hyphen-America world we all live in. Amy S. Choi and Rebecca Lehrer talk culture, identity, race and what makes us who we are. Get to know yourself, America.
At The Mash-Up Americans we are celebrating and challenging the raucous, colorful, complicated country we live in by asking all the important, awkward questions: What does it mean to be an immigrant in America? What cultural baggage do we bring to sex and relationships? Why is Korean skincare so popular? When does something get upgraded from the ethnic aisle?
