It’s time to step up and fulfill our divine callings as Fathers and crush the stereotypes that men/dads are getting. Research shows that the single greatest advantage that a thriving child can have is a Father that is present. I would argue that even better than just being present is BEING TOTALLY RAD!! The definition of that will differ for every Dad out there but it’s time you define it and become it for your children, they NEED you to show up everyday! The page will help you to define and become that Rad Dad! Remember, it’s all about progress, not perfection…We are FAR from perfect and need this page every bit as much as any other Dad. Childhood is finite at just shy of 9.5 million minutes. We only get one shot at it. One of the biggest decisions we make is how we will use that time. Research has confirmed time and time again that what children are naturally and unabashedly drawn to, unrestricted outside play, contributes extensively to every area of childhood development. The importance here cannot be understated. Every year we aim to match nature time with the average amount of American kid screen time (which is currently 1200 hours per year). Have a goal. Track your time outside. Take back childhood. Inspire others.

This podcast acts as a collection of conversations by a variety of guests and myself, a 25-year-old raised by a single mother, sharing insights that would have been gold dust for my 15-year-old self. Fatherless homes are on the rise, and while I know my podcast won’t be the solution, I know that these voicemails will act as a piece of a puzzle of healing to anyone who relates to a 15-year-old Jordan Deen. My prayer is that anyone journeying through the complexities of a fatherless life will find hope in the stories of the people I’ll be interviewing.
