Welcome to Dad Jeans, the podcast of, by, for and about dadding in this infant century number twenty-one. Brought to you by two men—the formerly hip Jeffrey Dinsmore and formerly happening Brendan Hughes—who now have relatively young children and are sorting out what it is that has happened to their lives. Each week we survey what the mommy blogs are saying, the ways in which we have failed our children, how we are trying desperately to remain cool, great moments in the history of fatherhood, and close as always with unsolicited fatherly advice.

I’m a letterboard-lovin’, scarf-wearing, puree-makin’, wine-drinkin’, slow-weanin’ toddler mom that lingers a little too long in the classroom rambling to the teachers about what her kid’s bedtime routine is like and explaining why said kid has peanut butter in her hair.I’m a little bit of a hot mess, and a little bit (okay, a lot) extra. As much as I love being a mom, sometimes I just need a minute and that minute usually (okay, always) includes wine. In each episode, I grab a glass of wine and a good friend and we just dive right in – into the highs (the first time they *really* smile at you), the lows (when you buy two pounds of strawberries right when they decide they hate strawberries), and everything in-between.So, grab a glass and have some “Me Time” with me. You deserve it.

Who’s your Daddy? Does it matter? I lost my father when I was only 23, but his impact on me and my faith has never stopped. Now that I have become a father, I see how rich an inheritance my father left me. But I am an anomaly in today’s Western World. Many men have little to no example of what it means to be a man of God. Where can the fatherless be fathered? The Faith Of The Fathers brings you honest discussions about what it means for a man to follow Jesus. Heroes of the faith, ancient, modern, and contemporary, will share their wisdom and experience. And you will receive practical, straightforward answers about God, the Bible, Life, and Fatherhood. You can be the man of God your sons will want to imitate. The Faith of the Fathers will help you get there.

Fear Not is for those who aren’t fearless, we just Fear Less. Join Spoken Word/Hip Hop Artist and Speaker Nigel “Legin” Anderson as he encourages you to follow your dreams and tackle tough topics in the face of real fear. Connect with us on all social media @legintv and let us know what you think!
In this episode, I visit Riverbend Maximum Security Prison (Aug 2019) in Nashville, TN with my friend J.R. Davis who runs Men of Valor, an organization that brings hope to prisoners, whether they’re getting out one day or headed to death row. One of the most transformative things I’ve ever done.
Go on the car ride with me as I capture via cell phone our drive to, and from, the prison where I spoke, performed, and gave my testimony. I think it will challenge, change, and give you hope that the greatest things are possible in the worst places.
