AAWW Radio: New Asian American Writers & Literature

AAWW Radio: New Asian American Writers & Literature

    by

    Since Oct 17, 2017 22:09 UTC

AAWW Radio is the podcast of the Asian American Writers’ Workshop, an NYC literary arts space at the intersection of migration, race, and social justice. Listen to AAWW Radio and you’ll hear selected audio from our current and past events, as well as occasional original episodes. We’ve hosted established writers like Claudia Rankine, Maxine Hong Kingston, Roxane Gay, Amitav Ghosh, Ocean Vuong, Solmaz Sharif, and Jenny Zhang. Our events are intimate and intellectual, quirky yet curated, and dedicated to social justice. We curate our events to juxtapose novelists and activists, poets and intellectuals, and bring together people who usually wouldn’t be in the same room. We’ve got it all: from avant-garde poetry to post-colonial politics, feminist comics to lyric verse, literary fiction to dispatches from the left. A sanctuary for the immigrant imagination, we believe Asian American stories deserve to be told. Learn more by visiting aaww.org Produced by the Asian American Writers’ Workshop.

VOXXX is full of masturbation techniques thought by women, for women, tested and approved. VOXXX has been created with participants of all genders, to stimulate all the kinds of attractions. “You Care Too Much”

    “You Care Too Much”

    by

    Since Oct 21, 2020 15:00 UTC

“You Care Too Much” is a podcast for people who give a fuck. Hi, I’m Randi Johns, and if I had a nickel for every time I have heard, “You care too much…” Instead of heeding advice to give fewer fucks, I decided to double down on caring and start a podcast dedicated to elevating the voices of purpose-drivers, world-changers, and all those who reject the status quo, advocate for, and create ways to better the lives of many. I invite you to join me as I explore the stories behind cool humans doing great things. We will not only learn about their purposes or causes, but uncover and celebrate the “whys” behind what they do and who they are.

    by

    Since Jul 19, 2019 19:19 UTC

What happens when someone sexually assaults you? Who do you tell? Who is going to believe you? Who can understand you? We live in a world where we know it happens but we never think that is going to happen to us nor to someone we know. TV represents these victims as running through the park, or in college, what about us? The “others” Who is our voice? What happens when it’s someone we know? #girlslikeusCharlotte and Venus will narrate an event that has changed their lives forever but has also made them stronger. Through this, they hope to not only bring awareness but also let you know that you are not alone. That you should speak up because this is your truth! Even though they went through this together their experiences are completely different. If you or someone you know have or believe that they have been the victim of sexual assault, do not be afraid to speak out, we must all stand together not against each other. National Sexual Assault Hotline; 1-800-656-HOPE https://www.rainn.org/ (you can also chat with them) We can be reached at; IG:_girls.like.us Facebook: facebook.com/girlslikeus619/ girlslikeus619@gmail.com

    The Real Question

    The Real Question

    by

    Since Feb 19, 2021 21:01 UTC

In this intimate podcast we explore how attention can be a tool for living a more intentional life. This season, Atheist chaplain and co-creator of Harry Potter and the Sacred Text Vanessa Zoltan guides guests through questions of quitting with empathy and humor. Vanessa has always been a big advocate of quitting – she believes quitting doesn’t mean ‘giving up,’ it means you’ve tried something and realized that it doesn’t work.

The Real Question is produced by Not Sorry Productions, a feminist organization that produces podcasts, educational content, live shows, and immersive experiences with the explicit goal of addressing the spiritual needs of its participants. Through community, rigor, and ritual, we treat traditionally secular things as if they were sacred. To learn more about what we do, visit https://notsorryworks.com/
