Reducing Overwhelm for Christian Homeschool Moms of Special Needs and Neurodiverse Kids ***TOP 1% Parenting + Family Life Podcast*** Do you wish your home and homeschool could be peaceful? Do you long for simple systems that help life run on autopilot, instead of feeling overwhelmed and like an angry task-master who can’t get anyone to help you? Are you ready to kick fear to the curb, LOSE THAT OVERWHELM, and move into a satisfying life of Proverbs 31 stewardship? Welcome to the family!!! You have been led here divinely, because Jesus is the Good Shepherd. In this podcast, you will find secrets to reducing the overwhelm that motherhood brings, shifting into living a life of intention and unity in your homeschool, homemaking, and health, while raising special needs or neurodiverse children. Reducing overwhelm happens simply and joyfully with a few systems and hacks, which I will share here. Living out Charlotte Mason’s homeschool teachings seamlessly creates a lifestyle that extends beyond formal education and encompasses the whole family’s approach to living and learning in a holistic joy-filled way! My mission is to journey alongside you, empowering and equipping you to build a solid family foundation to bless your future generations, while you confidently live out your calling with joy and assurance, despite the challenges of the special needs life. If you are ready to say “yes” to letting go of the yelling, guilt, overwhelm, and confusion that has plagued you, then you are in the right place. Welcome home. Hey, I’m Katie Keene. Jesus Lover and Daughter of the King, Wife to a Hunk, Mama of 5 treasures (with a pair of out-of-the-box movers and shakers), Special Needs Advocate, Non-toxic Lifestyle Junkie, and Homeschool Fanatic. For years I struggled to feel confident amid the overwhelming chaos of daily life. I was frantically searching for answers to mysterious chronic illnesses, neurodiversity in my children, and special needs. I felt desperate to know how to educate and train my children perfectly, longing to keep a Pinterest-worthy home, while trying to meet my unrealistic internal expectations –and keep up with military spouse life. I felt like a hamster running on a never ending wheel. I finally realized that to create the foundations in my family which I KNEW I was called to create, something BIG had to change. I did not want to wake up someday to regret and sorrow. I longed for simple solutions to living this challenging but rich special needs life with purpose, while fulfilling my calling to motherhood, health, homeschooling, and homemaking. SO, with God’s grace and guidance, I have learned to reduce the overwhelm and I am still on this journey today. I can’t wait to share what I continue to learn with YOU! This journey toward God’s best for your family will increase your confidence, and set a firm foundation for your generations to come. Breathe deeply, Mama. Let the kid’s go play. One Creative Act

    One Creative Act

    by

    Since May 31, 2021 22:50 UTC

I’m Mary Lyn Jenkins, and I’m constantly creating. I’m a momma, a wife, a business woman, a catalyst for wellness through my company Big Fish Co., a yoga teacher, a bestselling author and a designer. I’m all these things and I’m still finding out who I am by doing creative things I’ve never tried before. This podcast is me trying something brand new. It’s me saying yes to one creative act. The One Creative Act podcast is a mix of solo episodes and heartfelt conversations with purposeful dreamers, innovators and community heroes who turned simple creative actions into their greatest adventures and biggest contributions to the world. I started this so you could see yourself as a creator, too, and someone designed to live fully and creatively. I started this so more people would feel motivated to begin, whatever that means to you. Beginnings are miracles and when it’s a creative beginning, it’s equally a fun adventure. My hope is that you’ll walk away from every episode motivated to try something new, something you haven’t tried in years or something you haven’t done since you were a little kid. I hope you’ll discover or rediscover your own sense of creativity. New episodes drop every Thursday wherever you listen to your podcasts.

    Taking Back YOU Momcast

    Taking Back YOU Momcast

    by

    Since Jan 10, 2019 19:18 UTC

It may be hard to admit it, but the dreams you had for yourself didn’t end when motherhood began. You’re a mom, but you’re also a wife, sister, daughter, career woman, and/or entrepreneur and sometimes it’s hard to remember who you were BEFORE motherhood. If you love being a mama, but feel like you’ve lost a bit (or a lot) of yourself along the way, then this podcast is for you. It’s the witty, authentic, and sometimes sarcastic conversation that millennial mamas need to have with one another. The Taking Back YOU Momcast is hosted by Christian Women’s Motivational Speaker, Business Coach, and Certified Fitness Trainer, Dani Carter Iddins. She’s a wife, she’s a boy mom, she’s an entrepreneur, and she’s had to fight — tooth and nail– to take herself back after becoming a mom. Her mission is to help millennial mamas who are “in the trenches” of motherhood reclaim themselves so that they can lay the groundwork for making their dreams a reality.

    Synesthesiologie

    Synesthesiologie

    by

    Since Aug 13, 2019 17:59 UTC

A mindfulness podcast designed specifically for the traditionally marginalized. If you can’t see it, you can’t be it. Reframe your mind to realign with your purpose. This meditation focuses on limiting self-beliefs and how they can completely immobilize us if we’re not careful. Whatever your religion or creed, we cannot deny the power of the human mind. It has the power to create bridges or walls for us. It has the ability to make things impossible or effortless. It can make us fearless and unstoppable, or completely immobilized and powerless. It can be as wild and unpredictable as mercury, or as serene and calm as the surface of still water. It is our best friend and most vengeful enemy. And yet we don’t need to fight against it. We only need to acknowledge it, and return over and over again to what we’re trying to focus on and cultivate. You see, the mind can be trained. This is why meditation is called a “practice”. We come back each day to exercise and guide the mind so it can begin working on our behalf. So we’re not constantly at it’s mercy as it relentlessly switches from topic to topic and hones in our doubts, insecurities, and regrets. If we follow our mind as it spirals downwards, we encourage it to continue returning to these self-defeating thoughts. Where the attention goes, energy flows. If you are constantly thinking about how you will never be good enough, honestly, you never will. You’ve already told yourself your truth. Your mind will always stop you from reaching your destiny if you continue to let it believe whatever it wishes. This practice helps us acknowledge the limitations we impose on ourselves and helps us to let them go forever. Releasing the hold these negative beliefs have on us, we begin to build a positive reality of our own design. Till soon, Synesthésie “Whatever we believe about ourselves and our ability comes true for us.” —Susan L. Taylor
