Welcome to Geeks in the Greenroom, a podcast by and for theater geeks with your host Heather Morrison (hey, Ma, that’s me!). In each episode, I interview an actor, writer, dancer, singer, director, costume designer, triple threats, multi-talents, and all sorts of creatives. They share career journeys, confide their fails, wins, and surprises. I may even convince some to do a time step. What respectable Greenroom hang would be complete without a little light swearing, weird backstage rituals, and tails of showmances?

Now, Where Were We? is the show that Barry Cryer has been waiting 86 years to make!
Alongside his son, actor and writer Bob Cryer, Barry’s booked a room at a favourite London pub, called up a bunch of famous pals he’s not seen since lockdown began, and he’s invited them down for a pint and a proper catch-up. This is Barry at his storytelling best, in his natural habitat, doing what he’s done for decades: making us laugh.
There is some very explicit language used in punchlines from time to time, but Barry’s nearly 90, so it’s sort of delightful, isn’t it?

Lesbian mother, writer and internet geek, Josie Henley-Einion talks about life, the universe and everything. An audio blog which leads to a publishing contract. Some of the episodes have explicit content. Note, although I have added ‘knitting’ to the title of the podcast, I have only been talking about knitting since around episode 18, although I’ve been knitting since I was tiny. So if you’re looking particularly for knitting content, no need to listen to the archive, but if you want some interesting and literary content to listen to *while* you’re knitting then go ahead and download the archive! On Agla Station Adulthood, best friends Rytasha Rathore and Ayushi Amin ride through the various stations of life. Whether you’re in your mid-twenties, just entering them, or about to cross into the next decade, there seem to be a bunch of issues that we’re all going through. After all, nobody is perfect. We’ve had first jobs, second jobs, we’ve blown our paychecks, and invested a little too. Half of us even moved into our own place. We swiped right, we swiped left, we’ve loved, we’ve been left and we loved again. Basically, we’ve done a lot of things, but we’re not experts at anything. Rytasha and Ayushi have learnt a few things along the way which they’re happy to share with you.

British twins, Sarah J. Edwards and Sally A. Edwards own publishing company BLAG.
Sally and Sarah started BLAG, a fanzine while they were at art school in the 90’s using a DIY approach:
Saturday job pay, fake id, a camera, typewriter, access to a payphone, one hour photoshop and after asking nicely—unofficially, an art college photocopier. BLAG was secretly born as a Xerox’d ‘zine, heavily inspired by deluxe glossy golden era style magazines. Mixing humorous interviews. Sally and Sarah grew the ‘zine to an international glossy using job wages, ambition and determination.
The twins have been responsible for championing culture in the form of musicians, actors and artists ahead of the curve, from Questlove, The Neptunes, J. Dilla and OutKast to Adrien Brody, James McAvoy and Cillian Murphy to Queens of The Stone Age, The Raconteurs and Amy Winehouse, more recently ATARASHII GAKKO!, Daniel Arsham and JAWNY.
