Karen O’ Donoghue Founder of The Happy Tummy Co. found herself in an industry many years ago described as “The Wellness Industry.” Not totally comfortable sitting within those parameters and becoming more and more disillusioned by what was being said and reported from within that community Karen ran away to the country where she really did begin to find herself again and rediscovered the fire in her activist nature and need to do something good for the world.

The daughter of a horticulturist father and a farming mother Karen’s relationship with the soil has been lifelong. Baking bread since the age of four lead Karen to build a preventative medicine brand around better bread back in 2013. But more on that throughout the episodes here.

Here is a space for Karen to celebrate her heroes. The women and men taking care of our soil and of our health. Investigative food journalism with a touch of awe most of the time!

    by

    Since Sep 2, 2017 16:42 UTC

The Gut Loving Podcast is all about irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and the low FODMAP diet. The low FODMAP diet is a relatively new approach to effectively treat IBS symptoms and is scientifically backed up by a vast number of medical studies. The Gut Loving Podcast is hosted by Laura Tilt (an experienced Dietitian in the UK specialising in IBS and the low FODMAP diet) and Huelya Akyuez, patient and creator of project sezamee – gut loving food (video recipes and low FODMAP events) after living with IBS for over 20 years. Together, Laura and Huelya started The Gut Loving Podcast to help others with IBS get clear on the facts – and learn more about how to take control of their condition. Remember: Don’t start the low FODMAP diet without consulting your doctor or low FODMAP specialised dietitian first. What if I told you your IBS wasn’t being triggered by the food you are eating?

And even better, calming your flare ups is actually way more simple than you think..

If you’ve spent years stuck in the exhausting cycle of symptoms, diets, flare-ups, fear, and confusion, this show will help you break free by finally learning what’s really triggering your symptoms.

    In this podcast, you’ll discover:

After training in Nutritional Therapy, I realised how your Nervous System is the biggest and often most over looked factor in IBS flare ups.

I reduced my symptoms, then helped others do the same in clinic, and now I’m on a mission to help busy, stressed out or anxious professionals to do the same.

Tune in every Monday & Wednesday, for your weekly dose of IBS truths and regular Nervous System calming rituals. You’ll not only learn how your Nervous System is driving flare ups, but how to genuinely master your gut health, reduce flare ups, and take back control of your life.. All in the time it takes you to cook the dinner.

This podcast is dedicated to helping busy professionals with IBS and poor gut health, while also exploring how the vagus nerve, nervous system, stress, and anxiety impact digestion.

Discover effective strategies for managing symptoms such as acid reflux, constipation, bloating, low stomach acid, and cramps through gut healing techniques.
