    Servants Of Allah- Ibadur Rahman

    Servants Of Allah- Ibadur Rahman

    by

    Since Oct 1, 2014 19:07 UTC

Ibadur-Rahman is an institute for the general Muslims who are dedicated to cultivate true and deep Islamic knowledge and practice through meticulous observation of the Holy Quran, and the Blessed Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is committed to share the Prophetic wisdom inherited from previous generations of pious and knowledgeable scholars through study of authentic texts and the company of scholars who are committed to the Islamic way of life. Ibadur-Rahman in Arabic means “Servants of the All-Merciful”. The following beautiful verses of the Holy Quran tell us the characteristics of Allah’s servants. We aspire to acquire these characteristics and we hope to help each other to acquire these characteristics. The servants of the Rahman (the All-Merciful, Allah) are those who walk on the earth humbly, and when the ignorant people speak to them, they reply peacefully, (63) And those who pass the night prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord, (64) And those who say, “Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Jahannam (the Hell); indeed, its punishment is a persisting affliction.” (65) Indeed, it is evil as an abode and a place to dwell in (66) And those who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor miserly, and it (i.e. their spending) is moderate in between (the two extremes,) (67) And those who do not invoke any other god along with Allah, and do not kill a person whom Allah has given sanctity, except rightfully, nor do they fornicate; and whoever does it, shall face the recompense of his sin, (68)The punishment will be doubled for him, and he will remain there disdained, forever, (69) Except the one who repents and believes and does good deeds, then Allah will replace the evils of such people by good deeds, and Allah is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful. (70) Whoever repents and does righteous deeds turns to Allah truly (71) Surah Furqan: 63 – 71

    You Already Know.

    You Already Know.

    by

    Since Dec 22, 2022 15:00 UTC

This podcast is about freedom. How to achieve it, and what to do with it. Even though many of us think that doing and being whatever we want will make us happy, that’s not often the case. We’ll be more likely to be pleased and fulfilled when we are aligned with what we were created to do and be. I’ll share tools and mental models that can be used as flashlights to navigate the uncertainty that comes along with having choices. Some questions we’ll explore are: 1. how to live in harmony with yourself, your family, your community, and nature 2. how to avoid false freedoms that eventually limit your true freedom 3. How to choose your priorities and manage expectations. I trust that we will be divinely guided, divinely protected, and divinely loved in this journey. If you want to believe in yourself, others, God, the organizations you are a part of, the causes you choose, and whatever is meaningful to you, this podcast is great for you. Welcome to the beautiful experience of believing and achieving.

    Chains of Narration

    Chains of Narration

    by

    Since Oct 2, 2019 03:59 UTC

My name is Shafi Ahmed and I am the creator and host the Chains of Narrations podcast. I will interview guests from around the country, of course focus on my home town of Detroit, to start a more nuanced and reflective conversation about Muslims and Islam. My inspiration for this podcast came from all of the healthy and real conversations I have been fortunate to have with many of our leaders throughout the years that don’t always make your social media feed. I hope to link us all to these chains and share these productive conversations with everyone. I live in the Metro Detroit area and I am an accounting and finance professional who enjoys food and sports in my free time. Feel free to leave comments and ratings so I can continue to create a better podcast with each episode.
