    The State Versus Me

    The State Versus Me

    by

    Since Dec 31, 2019 09:00 UTC

My personal journey to recovering from a broken legal system at the hand of God. In a system where “Discretion” supersedes “Due Process” no one has a chance at a “Fair Trial.” Hence why most people feel pressured to plea “Guilty” before the “Risk” of exaggerated sentences. My personal recordings are made home and are raw unedited sessions of me describing my journey, and the experience. Part of that experience is the amazing way God found me while incarcerated, and he has not let go. The very worst thing I could have gone through, I survived. I welcome you to listen to my side of the story. Since no one involved in my case bothered to record my side of the story for the court record. I share it with the world. I wanted to create a platform where I can express the truth about what I went through with the legal system. I kept notes, filed formal complaints, escalated to the highest levels. no one bothered to take them serious. When I started filing Civil Complaints against Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. The detention officers began to get creative with their ways of abusing their power. You will notice that after episode 7 I change the tone, and focus. I wanted to start using some of my airtime dedicated to reading some scriptures from the Holy Bible. You can easily identify the type of episode it is by the Episode Cover art. If it’s legal it’s the image of my wounded face, and if it’s Jesus it will have an image of the Holy Bible. And FYI I use to consider myself an Atheist when I was younger. Because of all my small minded thinking, I allowed others to tell me what the word of the Bible said and meant. That was the first mistake, I can’t believe I allowed people to let me think that our God wouldn’t love me because I’m Gay. Shame on them, God loves every single one of His children. Even the one’s we struggle to embrace, well kind of like me. Please join me while I share my experiences with the law of man, and the law of our Father God. You wont agree with everything I say, but I pay for the time so oh well…lol If you have any questions about the Episodes please feel free to reach out via my Faceook Page @TheStateVersusMe.

The Ultimate Practice Builder for New York Injury Lawyers

The Ultimate Practice Builder for New York Injury Lawyers

    Since Jan 29, 2013 19:02 UTC

In law school, we’re taught the basic principles of law, i.e., contracts, torts and constitutional law that we need to pass the bar exam. Fun and interesting? Well, maybe (and yes, we need this stuff to pass the bar exam), but our cranky old law school professors never bothered to teach us how to operate a law practice, get clients and make money. But it’s too late to get your tuition back from law school, so what can you do? Just throw up your hands and just keep doing what all of the other lawyers in your town do? But what if there was a different way? A unique approach that is unlike anything you’ve heard or seen before. The Ultimate Practice Builder for New York Injury Lawyers just might be right for you. Instead of dry legalise and boring law school lectures, our podcast focuses on the cutting edge inside secrets from the nation’s top experts in lien resolution, trusts for injury victims, automating a law practice and law office systems and practices that are guaranteed to make your law firm run a whole lot easier. Running an injury practice in New York can be intimidating, but help is on the way!

Counsel to Counsel – Career Advice for Lawyers

Counsel to Counsel – Career Advice for Lawyers

    by

    Since Oct 29, 2019 11:03 UTC

Counsel to Counsel is a periodic podcast produced by Stephen Seckler of Seckler Attorney Coaching (www.counseltocounsel.com). It addresses important career, marketing, and leadership issues facing attorneys. The target audience is associates, counsel and partners at law firms of all sizes; but the podcast also addresses issues that are relevant to in-house counsel, law students or any lawyer who is looking for career insights inside or outside of the law. Counsel to Counsel is aimed at individual lawyers who are looking to increase their own career satisfaction and build their marketing and leadership skills. The podcast features interviews with leading consultants, career professionals and marketing experts who advise attorneys on careers, marketing, law firm management and related issues. The guests are also a roster of successful attorneys who have found career satisfaction inside and outside the law. Counsel to Counsel is a direct outgrowth of the blog Counsel to Counsel which Stephen Seckler has been publishing since 2005. Since graduating from law school in the late 1980s, Stephen Seckler has been advising lawyers on career and marketing issues and working with a broad mix of law firms and corporate law departments. He began blogging when legal blogging was in its infancy and his blog Counsel to Counsel was named to the ABA Journal’s Blawg 100 in 2007 and 2008 (the first two years that list was in existence). Steve has written extensively on career and marketing issues and he has spoken at many law school, law firm and bar association events. He served on the Boston Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Work Life Balance and was Vice Chair of the Law Practice Management Section of the Massachusetts Bar Association. He is active in the Senior Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association, the ProVisors business network, and has been quoted frequently in the legal and business press.
