    We Are Libertarians

    We Are Libertarians

    by

    Since Nov 8, 2017 16:45 UTC

We Are Libertarians helps you sound smarter while talking to your friends. If you struggle to understand politics, we explain it from an independent, libertarian point of view with all of the irreverence it deserves. We toss out the screaming heads, put people before political parties, and give context to the news to make you think. We exist to demystify, delegitimize, and desanctify government. Our host is Chris Spangle, a fifteen year veteran of politics and media. He leads a discussion amongst friends and high-profile guests that span the libertarian spectrum of thought. We were founded in 2012. Chris Spangle, Harry Price, and Rhinehold discuss the benefits and harm of social media, the Breonna Taylor verdict, the selection of Amy Coney Barrett to replace RBG on the SCOTUS, and the preview a future episode on political legitimacy. Mikeadelic | Liberty. Psychedelics. Self-Empowerment

Each week I explore big ideas through a psychedelic point of view with a core anchor rooted in cognitive liberty. My mission is to co-create spontaneous, authentic experiences with others in the flow of a real conversation that is emergent, organic and always thought provoking, inspiring, heart opening, raw, and real. I’m interested in all things that question authority, assumptions, and premises. I am lit up by big ideas, deep unconventional conversations, embodied experiences, community, humor, awe-inspiring art, and radical workings toward wholeness, connection and creativity. “You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.” ― Buckminster Fuller I aim to create the latter. I believe we are in a transformative phase where consciousness is evolving and we are here to know ourselves and each other more whole and deeply, like never before. We need each other, and we need real commit and support systems. I believe we have the opportunity to enter into a new phase of humanity where we are unleashing more creativity, art, freedom, through diversity, novelty and radical experimentation in social organization, and a re-shaping of our values and incentive systems. The internet, Psychedelics, and the principles of liberty have the power to change peoples lives for the better. This show aims to bring these topics, and more, together in a holistic approach. This show is all about changing the world for the better by authentically co-creating in community. Always Question Everything and Think for yourself. I hope you enjoy it, and if you do, please subscribe, share and leave me a 5-star ★★★★★ rating and review on Apple Podcasts You can also support this show for as little as $5 a month on Patreon.com/mikebranc Bonus episodes and a community discord server available + more goodies. Aer’La only wants to be free…The Confederated Worlds are unparalleled as a society of free people, yet, somehow, slavery still manages to exist. Aer’La, a non-human, was bred to serve as a pleasure slave. Years ago, she escaped her masters and masqueraded as a human, joining the Confederate Navy, where she worked her way up to ship’s Bos’n under the heroic Captain Jan Atal. Now, Aer’La’s secret has been discovered by Atal’s superiors, the media, and the world at large. Branded a sociopath, she learns that even a free society isn’t willing to grant freedom – or justice – to all.Library Journal says: “The author of the Arbiter Chronicles, an award-winning audio drama, vividly brings to life a cast of compelling characters while telling a story that measures the cost of freedom. The far-future military setting should appeal to fans of David Weber’s “Honor Harrington” series as well as the military sf of David Drake.”

Mere Liberty: Dare to Think & Flashes of Liberty

Mere Liberty: Dare to Think & Flashes of Liberty

    by

    Since Mar 4, 2018 00:43 UTC

To challenge and rethink our paradigms for understanding society, by applying Reformed theology and philosophy to politics, religion, and culture, in order to encourage individual freedom and responsibility within our own spheres of influence. Mere Liberty is about liberty at its most fundamental core. It’s stripping away the rhetoric that we’ve become accustomed to hearing and challenging the paradigms that face us today. Mere Liberty is not about politics per se, rather it’s about the philosophies (and theology) behind the problems presented in politics and culture. Challenging the manner in which we see these problems will push us to think beyond mere political solutions that in effect isolate us from own responsibility, and eschewing responsibility means relinquishing our associated freedoms.
