    by

    Since Jul 31, 2018 23:32 UTC

Voice-first technology is becoming the operating system of healthcare, and it is poised to completely disrupt the way we experience everything in health and medicine. We are entering the era of ambient computing – smart speakers around us that are ready to carry out our commands through the most natural interfaces known to us – our voices. In this podcast, we discuss the latest news, projects, research, and breakthroughs about the rapidly expanding intersection of Healthcare and VoiceFirst technologies. We cover Amazon Echo and Alexa devices, Google Assistant, Samsung Bixby, Microsoft Cortana, Apple Siri, and other smart speakers, in addition to voice recognition, natural language understanding, artificial intelligence (AI), and everything that works (and doesn’t work) to help you better understand where our healthcare system is headed.

Dr Teri Fisher is a Sport & Exercise Physician and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. He is an experienced keynote speaker, educator, consultant, and podcaster, who loves sharing his excitement and passion for artificial intelligence and voice-first technology. He has a passion for e-health innovation and the intersection of voice technology and healthcare.

    It’s All Mahalo

    by

    Since Oct 23, 2019 11:00 UTC

Our names are Aaron & Camille. We’re lifelong learns, best friends, and have been dating for over four years. We’re both navigating our place in the world, doing our best to learn and grow from every experience. In our senior year of college, so much was happening that we lost sight of who we were. We took a step back, took stock of what we had, and realized there was one thing that undercut all the overwhelm: gratitude. In Hawaiian, gratitude is “Mahalo.” We decided to start recording what we’re grateful for and sharing it with others. This is our audio journal.

The Scope of Practice Podcast for Business and Personal Finances for Physicians and Dentists

    by

    Since Apr 28, 2020 16:00 UTC

Dr. Brent W. Lacey, M.D. teaches healthcare professionals how to manage their businesses successfully and master their personal finances. Most physicians and dentists enter their profession with large amounts of personal debt, and beyond that – they begin working with no knowledge of how to actually run a clinical practice. You should be able to help your patients and do what you love without being stressed by all the other obligations that come with managing your medical practice. Dr. Lacey interviews physicians and other industry experts on topics such as physician burnout, financial independence, business management, leadership, personal growth, marriage, parenting, side hustles, marketing and branding, and medical education. You shouldn’t have to feel overwhelmed by the pressures of running your practice or by your own personal finances. Restore the joy you receive from helping your patients, knowing you have the knowledge and skills to handle all the other responsibilities that come with that. Hit “subscribe” and get ready to change your life.

    Living Life with Lynda Show

    by

    Since Oct 10, 2018 00:26 UTC

I have been on a personal wellness journey for many years due to watching my father get diagnosed and suffer from one illness or disease to the next (heart attack, 2 open heart surgeries, diabetes, stroke, colon cancer) until he passed away in March 2016. I kept questioning why my parents, my friend’s parents and so many other people were getting diagnosed with diseases, being put on so many medications and developing food sensitivities & allergies. I knew from personal experience that it wasn’t difficult to make small changes over time to improve your health and as I started to dive more into learning about a healthy lifestyle, more and more opportunities kept coming my way. Through various connections, I have learned so much from multiple practitioners and business owners in alternative medicine, nutrition, fitness, personal development, spirituality and more! I started this radio show/podcast to take people on this journey with me as I continue to discover more about what it takes to lead a Successful Balanced Life!

The Revolution of Regenerative Medicine- Stem Cell Surgery and SVF

The Revolution of Regenerative Medicine- Stem Cell Surgery and SVF

    by

    Since Mar 22, 2017 14:56 UTC

Gregory Laurence, MD introduces cell surgery and explains the purpose of this podcast series addressing the role of the use of stem cell and stromal vascular fraction. Regenerative medicine, in its broadest definition, includes: Nutrition, risk avoidance, exercise, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), platelet rich plasma (PRP), and cell surgery (the topic of this series). There is much confusion regarding the cellular area of regenerative medicine. It has not been fully determined which cell sources are the most effective. Choices from one’s own body (autologous) include: peripheral, bone marrow, and adipose-derived. Other “off-the-shelf” options are also available for therapeutic use. Dr. Laurence is the Founder of Germantown Aesthetics and Complete Medical Care Germantown near Memphis, TN. Dr. Laurence received his undergraduate and doctorate degrees from Baylor University and the University of Texas at Houston Medical School. Dr. Laurence fulfilled his initial specialty training at Saint Francis Family Medicine at the University of Tennessee. As a longstanding member and recent president of the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery, Dr. Laurence has worked with adipose tissue as a breast and body grafting technique. He has expanded the traditional use of technology and pioneered several innovative, minimally invasive surgical techniques. Dr. Laurence has represented the industry by being involved with overseas promotion of a medical device. He is one of the few certified faculty teaching platelet rich plasma (PRP) Vampire™ procedures and other regenerative medicine procedures. Contact the staff at www.lasermemphis.com or 901-624-5605.
