    Since Dec 16, 2021 13:00 UTC

Diggin’ the Dharma with Jon Aaron and Doug Smith is a relaxed discussion of the Buddhist dharma between friends. Jon’s interest centers around practice, while Doug’s centers around scholarship of the early material, so their approaches balance practice with study. Their discussions will be approachable to a broad audience of Buddhists and those curious about Buddhism, and they welcome questions and comments. Jon is a teacher at Space2Meditate and NY Insight Meditation Center and a well known teacher and trainer of teachers of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Doug has a PhD in Philosophy and runs Doug’s Dharma on YouTube and the Online Dharma Institute, where he gives courses on early Buddhism. Find them at: https://digginthedharma.com/

    The Good Intentions Podcast

    The Good Intentions Podcast

    by

    Since Dec 22, 2019 12:00 UTC

Good Intentions connects with experts and storytellers around social impact, psychology, mindfulness, personal growth, and health.

Each conversation unpacks the beliefs and rituals that drive and ground each guest. You will hear about achievements that go beyond the conventional and tangible to a deeper level, finding the meaning and intention behind what we do.

I believe that there is a deep longing in our culture and society for something more: something higher, something deeper. Material possessions and technology do not satisfy our souls. As human beings we long for connection.

I’m on a mission to spread positivity, drive connectivity and to inspire others to live a more meaningful life.

    Get Your Life Together, Girl

    by

    Since Nov 24, 2021 06:00 UTC

Hey Girl! Welcome to the Get Your Life Together, Girl Podcast, “THE” Blueprint to Ultimate Self-love and Inner Peace! Quick question: Can you honestly say you have your life together—like, together, together? How about: Do you love yourself? Are you confident, happy, and fulfilled? Most women struggle to answer “HELL YES!” to one or all of these questions! So, if that’s you, you are not alone! Getting your life together is not a one-size-fits-all journey, and self-love is not a one-off thing you are “supposed” to do! Instead, both are “THE” result of healing your past, focusing on growth, releasing the limits you’ve owned, finding your purpose, and putting the life practices in place that best serve where you are now and where you desire to be! And yet, the questions remain: How do you get your life together? How do you love yourself? Hell, how do you create inner peace? It’s much more straightforward than you think! Twice a week Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, renowned Life Coach to women, Mindfulness expert, Master-Level Advanced Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner, Meditation Instructor, HeartMath Practitioner, Sound Healing Therapist, and Emotional Intelligence therapist, Danielle A. Vann guides you through the blueprint, the how, she masterfully created that has changed thousands of women’s lives. Vann combines psychology, mind and spiritual healing, somatic, neuroscience, mindfulness, meditation, purpose work, and the development of emotional intelligence in a no-BS, real talk, unapologetic proven strategy that flips conventional, ineffective talk therapy on its head. Think of this as your total mind, body, and soul makeover! If you are ready to break down the barriers to your inner peace, shine a light on the things that keep you feeling “stuck,” release perceived limits, shake up your relationships, both with yourself and others, find better thoughts and behaviors, relax anxiety and stress, and learn the practices that the most mindful and successful women use daily, girl, this is the place for you! So, let’s go! It’s time to get your life together, girl! For daily inspiration and videos: IG @getyourlifetogethergirl and Join the Get Your Life Together, Girl Women’s Circle for 100s of downloadable, interactive practices at www.getyourlifetogethergirl.com/womens-circle Watch Danielle share her story on the documentary Wide Open Range, RoadTrip Nation: https://roadtripnation.com/roadtrip/dallas-houston-documentary

    Stories from the Subconscious

    Stories from the Subconscious

    by

    Since Mar 18, 2021 12:00 UTC

This is a podcast designed to expand what we know to be possible and remind us all that how we talk to ourselves MATTERS. What does that have to do with stories? what do I mean by storytelling? The way I see it, we have 2 buckets: 1. Our thoughts: what are the stories playing in my head? How do I talk to myself? What is the dialogue of my “internal” environment? 2. Our community: what stories have I been told about myself? About the world? How has my external environment influenced by belief system? Because the subconscious mind is the home of our belief system. And believe it or not, there is no “off” button: so the stories around us and within us are feeding that inner belief system. Which then begs the question: do these stories help me get to where I want to go? …and if not, how can I begin to shift THAT story? In this podcast, we explore how to use language and stories to engage with the subconscious mind so that you can nourish your belief system for your highest and greatest good. …because here’s the thing: if you don’t know that something is possible, then it doesn’t EXIST for you. And if that awareness is absent, we end up repeating old patterns and loops over and over again. So the conclusion that I AM DRAWING is: women need to know that possibilities exist. We need to hear more stories FOCUSED ON WOMEN and FROM WOMEN …about taking risks, making bold choices, & pursuing dreams… …and the mindset work it took to get there! My vision is that this podcast gives women the permission to dream bigger and take leaps of faith… because the truth is: you create your reality through storytelling. So as you tune in to this SEASON of SFTS, I invite you to be more and more MINDFUL of the stories you tell yourself…bc you JUST MIGHT start to believe them. To begin, click follow or subscribe wherever you’re listening (or better yet, join the community out on PATREON.com/beliefsystem )… Now, go ahead and get comfortable, plug in those headphones and join me as we explore stories from the subconscious…. ____________________ Mae Deevy is a Subconscious Reprogrammer, Integrative Coach and Sound Healer who helps clients exit those exhausting “limiting belief” stories so that they can create the space needed to then step into the ideal life that they envision. She uses hypnosis, conscious language and sound frequency to support transformation at the subconscious-level. Based in Austin, TX, Mae has a light-hearted, fun and spirited approach to sharing stories that just may make you wonder: What story am I telling myself today? And which story would I like to live instead?

    Life’s a Wreck, So Here’s a Podcast

    Life’s a Wreck, So Here’s a Podcast

    by

    Since Jul 5, 2019 22:00 UTC

Mental health isn’t just mental illness, it’s in everything we do. There are ups and downs, it’s beautiful and messy, and at the end of the day, life’s a wreck. Thing is, that wreck is what makes us ‘US’ and isn’t that worth celebrating? A layered and rich wreck of emotions, nuance and stories, all culminating in very human experiences. We believe that conversations surrounding mental health deserve to leave the tall shadow of stigma and have their moment in the limelight. Life’s a Wreck aims to be a museum of mental health, a parlour to the people, a place to celebrate all things mental, curating the stories of others and examining a world hidden behind stigma with a joyous curiosity and passion for storytelling. Join Kyle Moore around our proverbial campfire to share stories about the world we live in looked at through the lens of mental health. This is Life’s a Wreck.
