Beto Coral is the son of the war on drugs in Colombia. Beto shares the story of the much-anticipated peace that would follow Pablo Escobar’s death all those years ago…the story of how peace never truly arrived for his family, given that his father, el Capitán Humberto Coral (member of the Search Block that killed Escobar), was murdered a few months after the final operation against the drug trafficker in Medellin. Transportista: Who Killed Captain Coral? is hosted by Exile producer Alvaro Cespedes and is available in both English and Spanish.

We’re siblings — and we grew up around the table.
Some of our best memories started there. Our dinners were never quiet or serious — they were loud, funny, and full of life. We can still picture our mom giving Dad that look like, “These are your kids. Are you going to do something about them?”

Around that table, we talked about everything — life, love, heartbreak, faith, and sometimes we even worked out our frustrations there. It wasn’t always perfect, but it was real, and it was ours.

Now, we each have our own tables with our families — but there’s something special about coming home. So we’re bringing that same energy to a new table — a virtual one — where we can laugh, reflect, and share stories about growing up in the Anabaptist world.

That world shaped us in both beautiful and challenging ways. We’ve wrestled, questioned, and grown — and through it all, we’ve found that God shows up in every part of the journey.

Our hope is that this podcast encourages you, makes you think, reminds you of truth, and gives you a few laughs along the way. So, pull up a chair — there’s always room at the table.

Since World War Two, the emergence of truly modern, lightweight vessels – recreational and commercial, multihull and monohull, power and sail – constitutes a sea change in marine architecture that may well persist for generations to come. Because modern seafaring has advanced so fast, and yet history often neglects its oral heritage, now is the time for us to gather and share this legacy.
