Made of Fail – Made of Fail Productions

    by

    Since Sep 14, 2013 20:05 UTC

MADE OF FAIL is a Chaotic Neutral podcast cobbled together out of duct tape and chutzpah by the absurd ideas of Kevin O’Shea and Dayna Abel. Made of Fail is updated whenever we get around to it and focuses on various aspects of nerd culture; awesomely weird news; pimping out indie bands and songs you just don’t hear enough lately; our mutual love of the semicolon; and corrupting the youth of America with TOTALLY AWESOME STUFF one podcast at a time. Occasionally we might delve into srs bsns, but that’s because WE CAN. Listen to this and other great shows at http://www.madeoffail.net

A User’s Manual for the Human Experience

A User’s Manual for the Human Experience

    by

    Since May 20, 2009 15:57 UTC

Learn to block and delete idiots from your life. Remove addiction to bad people, drugs, alcohol, government and more (WITHOUT MEETINGS!) Then use your new-found time and energy to MAKE A LIVING DOING WHAT YOU LOVE, like the author does. A USER’S MANUAL FOR THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE is a libertarian manifesto for getting healthy, getting brilliant, maximizing potential and changing the world. WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT THIS BOOK: “Part intellectual memoir, part self-help book. Michael W. Dean’s Practical Emotional Self-Defense (PESD) techniques flow from a wealth of life experiences, both positive and negative. ‘The Only Two Rules in Life’ have some radical, refreshing implications.” –Jason Sorens, Ph.D. (Assistant Professor, University at Buffalo, SUNY), founder of the Free State Project “You owe yourself the opportunity to step outside your comfort zone and put yourself in the court with this modern-day Socrates.” –Pastor Kenneth V. Blanchard, Sr., author of Black Man with a Gun “I knew Michael Dean back in the day, when he was a 19-year-old punk rocker with an appetite for self-destruction. I honestly didn’t think he’d live to be 30. But guess what? It turns out that Michael isn’t just a survivor; he’s a survivor who’s learned how to enjoy life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness after recovery. For everyone who wants to know how to stay sane, develop a great work ethic, and make a mark on the world, Michael Dean has a great story to tell.” –Professor Michael Bérubé, Ph.D. (Penn State), author of What’s Liberal About the Liberal Arts? and Life as We Know It ABOUT THE AUTHOR: An anagram for “Michael Dean” is “Deal Machine,” and that truly fits. Dean never sits on his laurels, and he’s constantly working hard and well in new directions. Michael Wareham Dean is the author of the books “$30 Film School”, “$30 Music School”, “$30 Writing School”, “Starving in the Company of Beautiful Women”, “The Simple Pleasures of a Complex Girl”, “DIY NOW! Digital Audio” and “YouTube: an Insider’s Guide to Climbing the Charts.” He runs the libertarian pop-culture blog, Stink Fight. Michael directed the films “Hubert Selby Jr: It/ll Be Better Tomorrow” and “D.I.Y. or DIE: How to Survive as an Independent Artist.” Michael played guitar in the band The Beef People. He sang and played bass in Baby Opaque and Bomb (Warner Brothers). Michael W. Dean and his wife Debra Jean Dean are both professional voiceover artists, and also run The Nestlandia Institute, a think tank. They live in an undisclosed location in Southern California with their three cats. They plan to move to a farm in rural Wyoming this fall.

    Gannon MusiQ

    Gannon MusiQ

    by

    Since Jan 21, 2012 17:25 UTC

First off, I would just like to congratulate you on your excellent taste in musiQ. Secondly, I would like to thank you for taking the time to listen to my mixes. I put a lot of time into these in hopes that you will listen and enjoy as much as I do. I put together these very detailed traQ listing is for several reasons. Reason #1: It frustrates me to no end when I get a promo CD & have no way to find out the artist, traQ & remix names. Reason #2: If you’re listening to my mixes, odds are… I like you. I would like to go out and have some cocktails with you, on me. Reason #3: I wanted everyone to know exactly what genres of musiQ are actually being played. R&B artists don’t like being called ‘rappers’. Therefore, all electronic dance musiQ is NOT called ‘techno’. Reason #4: I would like any and all feedback from you. What do you like, what do you hate? I want to know it all. You are my audience and I would like any input you may have on my work. Hope to hear from you soon. I plan on making dozens of different types of mixes. These mixes will be broken into five different categories: Seasonal, Genre, Hommage, Live Sets & Gannon MusiQ. Seasonal mixes, like my “Trick or Beat” mix will be released around the time of their respective holidays. Genre mixes, such as my progressive mix, will be comprised of only one genre of house music & will be released when I feel inspired to create them & can be dropped at any time. Hommage mixes will be compilations of my favorite Producer/DJs tracks. Live sets are pretty explanatory. My Gannon MusiQ mixes are a no holds barred mix and will be comprised of the tracks I am currently obsessed with and want to share with the world. With all that being said, I’d like to thank you all for listening & encourage you to stay tuned for many many more mixes to come! 🙂 Feel free to sign up for my mailing list, subscribe to my podcast on iTunes or send my page to a friend. One final note, people on my mailing list only get an e-mail when I post a new episode so it will not flood your inbox. [itunes pic]

    On Becoming

    On Becoming

    by

    Since Aug 9, 2019 07:25 UTC

My name is Daniel Lim and this is the podcast where I explore the journey on becoming the best version of yourself. What it means to live a good life. In the areas of work, relationships and wellness. The most important conversations during my journey are the conversations with myself. But I’m also fortunate to have had fascinating conversations with real people about real topics and real feelings that we all experience in our own lives. Stories are what brings us together. It’s through stories, that we find a common currency to connect and build relationships with people. It’s these relationships that we learn the most about the world around us and who we are. I’m sharing those conversations and stories with you. New episodes Mondays. Listen anywhere you get your podcasts, and please rate and review the podcast if you enjoy it. Live life today focusing ON BECOMING. More information and content from the podcast can be found on Daniel Lim’s YouTube channel, Instagram and Twitter @daniellim_me

    Let’s Get It On

    Let’s Get It On

    by

    Since Apr 30, 2017 19:30 UTC

LET’S GET IT ON focuses on a small-town community radio station’s most popular show: a slow jam dedication/romantic advice call-in program called “Silky Beats & Satin Sheets.” When the super-smooth host Victavius St. Velour mysteriously disappears, it’s up to mild-mannered Gideon Spottswood to take over. And let’s just say, Gideon doesn’t know much about love. Or relationships, or music, or much of anything not having to do with home-brewing. But he’s not gonna let that stop him—no matter how badly his life starts to unravel. With a stellar cast from the world of TV, movies, stand-up comedy, improv, and syndicated radio…combined with a sensual soundtrack of the best R&B ballads of yesterday and today…LET’S GET IT ON is guaranteed to get you in the mood…for laughter! This 9-part mini-series was written by GARY LUCY, creator of THE KETCHUP.

Christian Heritage OnAir – biblical homeschooling & family discipleship | Christian Home Educators of Washington

    by

    Since Oct 30, 2014 18:03 UTC

Encouraging, teaching, and inspiring Christian homeschool parents with Biblical vision for thier families and the home education process. Christian Heritage On Air is a program designed specifically to minister to the Christian homeschooling family. Increasing numbers of Christian parents are recognizing the need to train up their children “in the way they should go” by teaching them diligently as they sit in their house, as they walk by the way, as they lie down, and as they rise up. (Deut. 6:7) Increasing numbers of fathers are actively leading their families in the homeschooling process. Increasing numbers of parents are recognizing the importance of homeschooling all the way through high school . . . Christian Heritage On Air is just one of the many ways that Christian Heritage Home Educators of Washington is actively working to connect with and regularly encourage, teach, and inspire homeschoolers locally and globally with Biblical vision for their family and the home education process. “We want to serve you so you can successfully get started, keep going, and move beyond homeschooling with your precious children. And we want to aid you in raising up a Christ-exalting, God-glorifying generation which is in turn equipped and inspired to raise up many such generations to come. We are serious about passing on a Christian Heritage!”
