    Practical Prepping Podcast

    by

    Since Oct 19, 2020 00:00 UTC

Practical Prepping Podcast is for everyday people.Helping you become prepared for whatever emergencies come our way. Where gear is good, but knowledge is better, because the more you know, the less you have to carry. Whatever the emergency, natural disaster, or man-made events which may disrupt daily life from minutes to months… from running out of gas, getting snowed in, going through a hurricane or tornado, even an extended SHTF event, we all need to be prepared. The government isn’t coming to help. WE ARE ON OUR OWN! Family friendly listening, as we promise to keep it clean! We don’s do bunkers with years of supplies in order to repopulate the earth after TEOTWAWKI. We aren’t preparing to survive a nuclear war (probably wouldn’t want to survive that one.) We do prepare to survive the actual threats that we are most likely to face, and we want to help you get prepared for the threats that you will most likely face. We’ll keep it practical. That’s why it is called “Practical Prepping Podcast”Website: www.practicalprepping.info produced and provided by: www.prolinedesigns.us

    Gap Year For Grown-Ups

    Gap Year For Grown-Ups

    by

    Since Jan 15, 2019 18:57 UTC

A podcast about moving from midlife to old age in a society that devalues old people. It takes courage and (b)oldness. What’s old age *really* like? Debbie explores that question in each episode in a frank 30-minute conversation with a best-selling author, expert, or exceptional individual. With her guests she delves into the unretired (non-retired) life, slowing down, ageism, physical deterioration, grandparenting, intergenerational collaboration, grief and widowhood, and more. As well as other stuff that piques her interest: for example, the craft of writing. She invites her husband, Sam Harrington, on as a frequent guest. He’s a retired physician with a dry sense of humor and he makes her laugh. Debbie and Sam took a grownup gap year at age 61, leaving behind a comfortable life in Washington D.C. Now in their early 70s, they live an “unretired” life on an island off the coast of Maine. Reclaiming Your Identity | How has the Global Pandemic affected our Identities & how can we learn to accept who we are now?

Reclaiming Your Identity | How has the Global Pandemic affected our Identities & how can we learn to accept who we are now?

    by

    Since Apr 26, 2021 05:00 UTC

A show dedicated to warning you against the dangers of isolation, fear of failure & pursuing undesirable certainty & control, Reclaiming Your Identity is an extension of my quest to show you how to break through your subconscious mental blocks & to help you appreciate & own your own vulnerabilities. I’ll share my tips to help you to become larger than your anxieties, to gain clarity, to be courageous & to take action. As an authentically vulnerable person, I share both my own- & other people’s stories of resilience & triumph, & I’ll explain to you how to really get things done.

Working globally as a High Performance Identity Coach with men who identify as having any disability & are looking to reconstruct & reclaim their identities, I’m now seeing the horrific aftermath of the 2020 Pandemic & the severe decline of male mental health. This is the result of a disconnection from reality, from identity, from life. Close your eyes & take a minute to think about how you are really feeling inside. You are not the same person now that you were in March 2020. How much has the pandemic changed you, & is this for better, or for worse? Now, open your eyes, find your courage to own your vulnerabilities, & begin to make the changes that you know that you need to do.

Join me every Monday for advice on how to really value yourself, how to find the right support, & how to Reclaim your Identity.

树龄外卖 Shǔlíng wàimài means “Spiritual Take-Out”. Wàimài is what we call the guys on motorbikes delivering restaurant take-out orders across the city. As I sat in my apartment unable to go out during those first few days of the coronavirus, looking out the windows, I could see these unsung heroes delivering food to the masses, keeping us all alive. As I thought about how we also couldn’t get out to attend our normal fellowships to be spiritually fed, we also needed someone to deliver a different kind of wàimài… here you go, your Spiritual Wàimài has arrived!
