    Feel at Home in France

    Feel at Home in France

    by

    Since Mar 30, 2023 14:25 UTC

Welcome to the „Feel at home in France“ Podcast!

This podcast is about and for expat women from a variety of backgrounds who share their experiences and insights on navigating French culture, customs, and lifestyle.

Every week, I share a new episode on the podcast with the ambition to evoke the most authentic conversations about life in France. We will hear — solo or with a guest — thoughts about life in France and how to create your own awesome journey. How did my guests overcome struggles, which drawbacks did they have to face and what do they enjoy most in their life in France today?

Overall, the podcast aims to provide a sense of community and connection for those who have made the move to France.

Hi! My name is Anna, and I came to France in 2010 from Germany. I was a young mom and just beginning to settle into my role as a mother and suddenly I was confronted with this new foreign culture that overwhelmed me more than once. There were my own cultural patterns and the new social demands from outside – and I was in the middle of it. It took me a long time to feel “having arrived.” And today I know that it’s in me to create this feeling of home, but it also means being connected with myself.

How about you? You know that France is the place to be for you? But there are some moments, when it doesn’t feel alright, yet? Feeling home is directly connected to the fulfillment of your needs. If you want to take a first step towards YOUR WAY of French life, check my workbook „Embracing your French life.“ I guide you with 3 questions to get more clarity on your daily life and the next actions to take.

Emily Is Not In Paris: The Podcast

    by

    Since Apr 25, 2021 11:00 UTC

In “Emily Is Not In Paris: The Podcast”, host TheQueenFatima will investigate why and how people move to France and what they do once they get there. Fatima is a native New Yorker who moved to Paris about five years ago on a whim. As each year passes by, she wonders what motivates people to dig roots in France. This podcast hopes to demystify the allure of navigating French society as a foreigner. Through conversations with friends & strangers who have spent a considerable amount of time in Paris, whether 3 months, 3 years, or a lifetime, we plan to understand how France changed their scope on life and the work that they do.
