    Your Edtech Questions

    Your Edtech Questions

    by

    Since Dec 4, 2018 22:00 UTC

Educators have lots of questions about how edtech can accelerate teaching and learning. What’s not easy to find are reliable answers. “Your Edtech Questions,” the new podcast from the International Society of Technology in Education (ISTE), tackles critical questions at the juncture of edtech research and classroom practice. In each episode, Zac Chase, PK-12 language arts coordinator at St. Vrain Valley Schools in Colorado, and Amal Giknis, an English teacher at Philadelphia’s Science Leadership Academy, turn your edtech questions into edtech answers with the help of an ISTE expert. As the hosts plunge into real questions from real teachers in each episode, you’ll get an in-depth understanding of the issue along with authentic classroom solutions. And you can count on the advice, since ISTE has opened up its networks and resources, and provided unprecedented access to the leading edtech experts. If you’re an educator looking for reliable professional development on critical edtech topics, “Your Edtech Questions” is the podcast for you!

    Bent Not Broken

    Bent Not Broken

    by

    Since Nov 21, 2022 08:05 UTC

Jennifer Sey has done a lot. She went to Stanford. She’s written two books. She was the chief of branding at Levi’s. Paul Shirley has also done a lot. He has an engineering degree. He’s written books, too. And he’s the founder of The Process. But the thing that brings them together to podcast is something they each did a long time ago: compete in elite athletics. Jen was the 1986 US Women’s Gymnastics National Champion. Paul played in the NBA. Their history in sports has allowed them a unique lens through which they see the world and what they see now is a world that could use more of what they learned about resilience: the ability to pick yourself up off the mat (or court) and keep going. The Bent Not Broken podcast explores hot topics, current events, and the lives of Paul and Jen with one goal in mind: helping its listeners think about how they can live life more fully and with less fear of failure.

Podcast A Vet: Stories, Support & Community From Leaders In The Veterinary Field

    by

    Since Apr 3, 2018 10:00 UTC

Podcast A Vet is a podcast for Veterinarians, students, nurses, veterinary professionals and animal lovers with an emphasis on community. The podcast shares the stories, struggles, successes and insights of leaders across the veterinary industry. As modern vets, we face numerous challenges on a daily basis, from dealing with patients and clients, to running profitable practices, to dealing with internal struggles like compassion fatigue. We believe that the best way through these struggles is by learning from a supportive and open community, and improving the vet industry as a whole, one vet professional at a time.

    by

    Since Aug 17, 2020 04:00 UTC

Beyond the Tassel is a weekly podcast hosted by education equity advocate and community engagement champion, Craig Williams, featuring insider tips to help families and students prepare for the transition from high school to college or other post-secondary intentions. College isn’t for everyone but, on average, about two out of every three kids choose to go to college. Our mission is to help kids make the most of that process, providing tools and insights to gain admission to the schools of their choice and to help parents with strategies to make college more affordable. Through this podcast, our local community engagement efforts, and our website, journey12.com, we hope to enhance the odds of young people finding a successful fit with their post-secondary transition process. Your kids are just as smart and hardworking as kids anywhere, and on our podcast, we strive to level the playing field for your students as they ramp up for their chosen post-secondary intentions, including military, the trades, family business, college, and the world of work. Episodes drop every week. Subscribe to always have access to the latest insights.
