Lost and Not Found – Director’s Cut

Lost and Not Found – Director’s Cut

    by

    Since Apr 12, 2010 15:14 UTC

True Love. No limits, no obstacles, no miscommunications. Only Love. “Give up, let go, leave everything behind, follow your passions, and remember how to fly, and everything you’ve ever dreamed of can be yours.” –That’s how this story goes. There’s no arch villain, no dark conspiracy, not even a comedy of errors. This story goes straight to the heart of happily ever after and, like true love, it never strays. The Director’s Cut of Lost and Not Found begins where one person reaches that point of “enough is enough,” stops playing by the rules, and starts following his heart. Leaving behind everything that led to his decision, and restoring parts of the story that had once been left on the cutting-room floor, it delivers a new experience whether you’ve read the other editions or not. In these pages you’ll find a faerie, a two-headed monster, titans young and old, a flying city, amazing museums, unusual time mechanics, and many more wonders as they’re discovered by two people in love. This cut of the book was made for the lovers and the dreamers out there.

    Butterflies Are Free To Fly

    Butterflies Are Free To Fly

    by

    Since Jan 3, 2011 01:42 UTC

When Nicolaus Copernicus discovered the Earth wasn’t the center of the Universe, everything changed. When Isaac Newton figured out the law of gravity from a falling apple, everything changed. When Benjamin Franklin harvested electricity from lightening and Thomas Edison made the first commercial light bulb, everything changed. Today, when quantum physicists realize our physical universe isn’t real, that it’s just a hologram, everything … wait! Nothing’s changed – yet. “Butterflies Are Free To Fly” offers a new and radical approach to spiritual evolution based on the recent scientific experiments in quantum physics and brain research outlined in Part One. Given that the physical universe which looks and feels so real to us is actually a unique holographic projection from our own brain, the author examines various models for life and living that are very different than what we have been told and taught. “This is the only radical thinking that you need to do,” Dr. Amit Goswami is quoted as saying. “But it is so radical, it is so difficult, because our tendency is that the world is already ‘out there,’ independent of my experience. It is not. Quantum Physics has been so clear about it.” For example, in Part Two we are introduced to something the author calls an “Infinite I,” which is creating our unique holographic experiences. Then there is the “Human Game Model,” offering explanations all the way from why we experience pain and suffering to how we can change our reactions and responses by letting go of our judgments, beliefs, opinions, and fears. The end result, suggests the author, is peeling away all the layers of false identities that make up the “ego,” transforming and emerging from our cocoon as a “no-self.” Part Three of the book is a series of questions and answers to offer alternative explanations consistent with these models on subjects such as money, past lives, karma, trust, and the “Earth Environment.” This book will leave you thinking, because this book is truly radical. “I devoured your book. I appreciate your personal insights and sharing. Thanks again for a brilliant read.” – Nancy, from California “Thank you so much for putting up such a wonderful book..I have no words to describe how I feel Now after I read the book.” – Charles, from Nigeria “Thank you for your book. It is refreshing to see something that is both free and very accurate. I gained so much from the book. Your work explains for free so much truth in simplicity that I know to be correct. The quantum physics material is brilliant.” – Andy, from Thailand “Appreciate your book in many many ways… Its a total masterpiece!” – Daniel, from Colorado “This has been an incredible read and I can’t stop thinking about it. I’m definitely recommending it to others.” – Jace, from Canada “Really enjoying your book , brilliantly put together.” – Tink, from Amsterdam “I have read the book and I must say that I have never ever been so absorbed in a book. Your viewpoint is so fresh and logical. The way you have incorporated the quantum physics aspect is spellbinding. I am simply overwhelmed by your imagination and the ability to communicate so clearly.” – Harmeet, from Belgium “Best book I have!” – Kenneth, from the USA “Loved the book.” – Mike, from Oregon “An original and well designed book of the mind that offers the reader the path to understanding the true nature of our reality and therefore the real path to peace.” – Gary, from Canada

The Power of Audio + Science + AI with Jasmine Moradi

    by

    Since Nov 9, 2020 00:00 UTC

The Power of Audio + Science + AI is a podcast series by Behavioural Sound Scientist Jasmine Moradi to educate Brand Leaders on the power and the future of audio branding. I investigate how Audio Branding offers brands boundless creative opportunities — from music marketing to sound architecture, from AI music to consumer psychology and beyond — so consumers hear the right sound at the right time and in the right moment.

The increasing importance of Audio to the brand marketer has grown multiple in the last few years, and brands have just started recognising the power of sound. This is one medium that you, as a marketer and advertiser, cannot afford to ignore. How are your Audio Assets subconsciously perceived by your customers, and are you measuring the impact?

Listen to my intimate and in-depth conversations with my fellow industry colleagues from the MusicTech Startup Scene, Brand Experts, Music Supervisors, Musicians, Engineers and Scientists to learn their background, philosophy and process — basically unlocking the secrets behind the power of audio, science and artificial intelligence to succeed with your Audio Branding experience.

I am on the mission to increase the value of music by educating brands about the power of Audio Branding in storytelling. Furthermore, to increase the creation process’s so that artists get the value they deserve for their magical art.

My podcast is for those who want to learn how to apply behavioural science for business success. Tune in!

The Door Through Space by Marion Zimmer Bradley

The Door Through Space by Marion Zimmer Bradley

    by

    Since Dec 18, 2023 00:00 UTC

At one time Race Cargill had been the best Terran Intelligence agent on the complex and mysterious planet of Wolf. He had repeatedly imperiled his life amongst the half-human and non-human creatures of the sullen world. And he had repeatedly accomplished the fantastic missions until his name was emblazoned with glory. But that had all seemingly ended. For six long years he’d sat behind a boring desk inside the fenced-in Terran Headquarters, cut off there ever since he and a rival had scarred and ripped each other in blood-feud. But when THE DOOR THROUGH SPACE swung suddenly open, the feud was on again—and with it a plot designed to check and destroy the Terran Empire. (Original book blurb)

    Beneath

    Beneath

    by

    Since Feb 1, 2010 16:42 UTC

Three thousand years after a chunk of iron the size of Khufu’s pyramid collides with Europa, Jupiter’s sixth moon, an asteroid borne of the collision crashes into Earth’s Arctic ice shelf carrying extraterrestrial microbial life. The first man to come into contact with the microbes hears voices—and then dies. After determining the meteorite originated from Europa, the Global Exploratory Corporation sends oceanographer and biologist, Kathy Connelly, and her crew to the moon aboard the Surveyor, an experimental spacecraft. They are charged with the task of melting through miles of ice to the hidden ocean beneath, where the search for alien microorganisms begins. But a startling discovery awaits them on the surface of Europa. Life. Vast fields of red, plant-like organisms fill the cracks crisscrossing the moon’s surface, surviving on nutrients welling up from the waters below. Intoxicated by thoughts of what might lie beneath, Connelly and her crew activate the Thermal Exploratory System and melt through the ice—toward a world that does not want to be found, toward a force that will do anything to make sure they never leave. They search for life. They find death. Produced and narrated by Jeffrey Kafer PRAISE FOR BENEATH: “Here’s a near-future space adventure that’s as frightening as it is smart. Jeremy Robinson’s BENEATH is packed with believable tech, a page-turning story and an alien intelligence so creepy, you’ll pray NASA never makes it past the moon.” –J.C. Hutchins, author of PERSONAL EFFECTS: DARK ART and 7th SON: DESCENT “Jeremy Robinson hits his stride in BENEATH. His story-telling is as tight as ever, delivering thrills that raise the heart rate and science detail that gets the mind cranking just has hard. An evocative blend of Crichton and Clarke, BENEATH is destined to become an instant new media classic.” –Phil Rossi, Best Selling author of CRESCENT, HARVEY, and EDEN “Isolation, cold, and the unknown: Like The Thing, Into the Void taps into those fears, and a couple more we never know we had. Robinson strips away all that we hold dear, sends us into the deep dark, and dares us to make our way out of it.” –Mur Lafferty, author of PLAYING FOR KEEPS and award-winning podcaster of I SHOULD BE WRITING and the HEAVEN series “Robinson grabbed my attention in the first chapter, and kept hold of it. BENEATH isn’t your run of the mill way distant future fantasy sci-fi. It reads like its real, like it could happen today…but we hope and pray it doesn’t.” –Basil Sands, author of 65 BELOW and FAITHFUL WARRIOR “Masterful Craftsmanship…a chilling tale that finally answers the question: Are we alone?” –thenovelblog.com PRAISE FOR ROBINSON: “There’s nothing timid about Robinson…” — Jeff Long, NY Times bestselling author of THE DESCENT and YEAR ZERO “How do you find an original story idea in the crowded action-thriller genre? Two words: Jeremy Robinson.” — Scott Sigler, New York Times bestselling author of CONTAGIOUS and INFECTED “Jeremy Robinson is an original and exciting voice.” — Steve Berry, New York Times bestselling author of THE CHARLEMAGNE PURSUIT
