HaShem’s 7 Commandments for all Mankind Rabbi Zvi Aviner takes you step by step, up the ladder of Noah’s Seven Commandments, which is the moral fabric of civilization. The classes are on IDOLATRY, ADULTERY, BLOODSHED, THEFT, INJUSTICE, BLASPEHMY and MERCY (the Prohibition to eat BLOOD and more. The stories and concepts are drawn from thousands-years old Jewish literature, like the Midrash, Talmud, commentators and Kabbalah. More importantly, the material is anchored in Jewish customs, prayers and liturgy; some dated to the Holy Temple of Jerusalem. Here you’ll discover the origin of ideas that have shaped our world, like the coming Reign of Mercy, the Heavenly Kingdom and the Eternal Sabbath. Whether you’re a Christian, a Muslim or a Jew, you’ll find these classes illuminating and inspiring. Noah is the father of all Mankind. Hence his teaching is the roots of all faiths. Noah, by the very meaning of his Hebrew name, is a pleasant and accommodative teacher. His wife’s name, Naama, means the same. Learn about both of them, about their falling in love, and about their fascinating families and treacherous times. You’ll find that nothing is new under the Sun, and that we are still facing a similar moral discourse.

I’m not a rabbi, so every week, I look at our Torah portion and try to put it in conversation with the world around me. Judaism is rich in tradition, and each of us deserves the chance to find our own meaning in its words, but like the text says, “there’s nothing new under the sun.”Whether you’re studying Torah daily, or taking a moment to prepare for Shabbat, new to text and maybe even Judaism, or a longtime yeshivanik, I hope you’ll make a few minutes of my Torah part of your week. Thanks for listening, and Shabbat shalom.

I know that all the cool kids are jumping on to the daf yomi bandwagon. However, if you are looking for something a bit more mellow, a bit more curated, less a part of the rough and tumble of the daf yomi speedway—I invite you to daf shvu’i, a weekly page of Talmud. In about 40-50 minutes you can learn a page of Talmud. No previous experience required.

Not a hidden missionary group. Each episode knocks another pillar out from beneath the tenants of idolatrous religions. Using scripture, life experiences, and a little satire, each episode challenges the listener, but also entertains.

The “Daf Yomi Masechta Review” is an easy to follow audio “chazara” system which helps people review and remember the Gemaras they’ve learned. Each 30 minute segmentprovides the highlights of an average of 8-10 blatt/pages of talmud. It is perfect for those who want to quickly and easily review a few weeks or months of Gemara they’ve recently learned. Recorded (in the mid-late 1990’s) by Rabbi Yosi Heber, a musmach of Harav Avrohom Pam zt”l of Yeshiva Torah Vodaath, these shiurim, which cover all of shas in 122 hours of recordings, have been used by tens of thousands of people around the world. The project was encouraged and endorsed by many of the Gedolei Yisroel
including Harav Avrohom Pam, zt”l and Harav Mordechai Gifter, zt”l.
