A Podcast where nerds can listen to another nerd talk about nerdy shit… But on a real note, I want to be your friend who you can have discussions with about Movies, TV shows, Video Games, Comics, Books, etc. Most of the time you can’t talk about this stuff with others because you are surrounded by people that don’t hold similar interests as you do. We review old games, movies, and music against the standards of today to see if they still hold up. Will your favorite childhood game still hold up? Or will it be bombed out of existence? Those special effects in that movie you go back to? Yeah, that a 3 out of 10. Tune in to hear the reviews!
Git gud! In this episode, we discuss the punishing game Dark Souls! Whether it took you 500 tries to kill that one boss or you managed to fly through the game, we agree that everyone should die at least once (or maybe 500 times). While the graphics may be a bit dated, the atmosphere created by From Software will ensure that you feel truly immersed in the Dark Souls world.
While both of us have some gripes with some of the mechanics, the overall gameplay allows you to quickly forget those shortcomings.
Overall, Dark Souls is a game we both can recommend!
