    The Ediful Gardens Podcast

    The Ediful Gardens Podcast

    by

    Since Feb 25, 2019 20:00 UTC

What do we do here? We help people create edible and beautiful landscapes that are way better than organic! Because I’m on a mission. My dream is to make good food accessible to everyone. In my humble opinion, the best food is tasty, nutritious and safe, and it doesn’t get any better than picking fresh fruits, herbs, and veggies straight off the plant. Where you know what went on it and in it from start to finish. Here at Ediful Gardens, we landscape with edible and ornamental plants, trees, bushes, vines and bulbs in such a way that a passerby wouldn’t know your growing food. You won’t find any tomato cages here. As a matter of fact, there’s a lot you won’t find here including pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or any other “cides”.What you will find here are landscapes designed for beauty, fun, reflection, peace, entertaining, and list goes on. The point is it’s your yard, your home, and your taste.

Hey y’all, this is Courtney Slade, your host of Wild & Rooted! I’m here to share the stories of people doing some pretty cool and different things in agricultural and horticultural industries. Interested in learning about beekeeping? Or you’ve always wanted to start that backyard veggie garden? Maybe you’ve wondered about how that wine ended up in your glass or why those olives in your dirty martini are so dang good. I’m here for helping us all understand and learn more about the importance of knowing where your food comes from and what regenerative agriculture really and truly means (and eventually being able to say it five times fast).

    Let My People Eat

    Let My People Eat

    by

    Since Nov 13, 2018 21:58 UTC

On Let My People Eat, co-hosts Jill Sharfman, a holistic nutritionist, and Dr. Andrea Moskowitz, MD, an accomplished psychiatrist, demystify confusing talk about food, arming you with the knowledge and confidence to eat, feel and be healthy every day. Listen in for wholesomely nourishing knowledge, as they discuss, dissect and dial down the hyperbole of the latest in holistic living. Our nutrition approach is based on Dr. Ed Bauman’s Eating for Health® system, which teaches the intrinsic pleasures of choosing nutritious foods and eating them mindfully and with gratitude. This mindset makes food the absolute “best medicine” not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually as well. The kosher lifestyle makes for a special kind of food frustration, as eating is a symbol of celebration and connection and a time-honored feature at every Sabbath, Holiday and community event. We’re here to say: you can have your babka and eat it too!
